Event Details

Hello and thank you for signing up to participate in the second annual Swinging at Stigma charity golf tournament! We are thrilled to have you and look forward to shooting low scores and raising money for mental health awareness on June 8th, 2024 at California Golf Course in Cincinnati, Ohio .

The Event

Swinging at Stigma is set to take place at California golf Course in Cincinnati, Ohio. A staggered start off of holes 1 and 10 is scheduled for noon EST on Saturday the 8th. Groups will be announced several days prior to the event and all participants will tee off by 12:45. You will receive and email with your tee time before the event. Please plan to arrive at the course 20 to 30 minutes early to get checked in and practice for the event. The Standing Up to Stigma team will announce the final list of prizes and the rules for the event.

Tournament Rules

This year’s event is a two-person scramble taking place from the white tees. If you have signed up to golf and wish to be paired with someone and play with another team, please reply to this email so we can have your cart and group set up prior to your arrival the event.

We will follow standard scramble rules, you can find a detailed explanation here. During the tournament there will be several opportunities where your scramble team can gain an advantage by making a $10 dollar donation to Standing Up to Stigma. On the longest par 5, your team can tee off from the red tees. If you are already playing the red tees, there will be a marker in the fairway you can move up to for your tee shot.

In addition, if your team takes an errant shot then you can buy a mulligan for $10. Mulligans can be bought as needed throughout the event! Please vemno Zach English (@Zlish) or Mike Lockhart (@MikeLockhart) to purchase a mulligan or move up on the specified par 5.

Prizes and After Party

This year we are proud to have a great lineup of prizes available. Immediately following the event we will be having an after party and ticket raffle at California Golf Course . We invite you to join us to eat pizza, socialize, participate in the raffle, and celebrate together with family and friends!
